Intensive Child and Family Services

This is an intensive home, school and community-based program for families with children/youth (ages 7 to 18) who are experiencing significant social, emotional, and/or behavioural problems in their home, school and/or community. Those with acute mental health issues are seen on a priority basis. The program offers families an opportunity to build on their strengths, skills and relationships.

The program offers:

  • counselling and support
  • up to 6 hours of service per week
  • parenting strategies
  • consultation and support to schools
  • flexible hours and accessibility
  • follow-up “booster sessions”
  • parenting groups and children’s programs
