About Woodview Mental Health & Autism Services

Day Treatment Programs

The day treatment programs provide a comprehensive therapeutic school-based program in partnership with the Local District School Boards. The day treatment programs are located in community schools. Programs provide services to  children  or youth ranging in ages from 6 to 18 who are experiencing significant social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties In a regular school setting. The child or youth may also be experiencing difficulties at home and/or in the community. Services are provided to both the child and family. The child or youth is usually involved in day treatment for one year. The  ultimate goal is to reintegrate the student succesfully to an appropriate setting whether that may be his/her home school, or an alternate school.

The program focuses on:

  • social skills
