Referral Process – Adult Services

Woodview’s adult services for individuals with ASD in Hamilton are funded through the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS). Contact Hamilton is the central access point for funded adult Developmental Services in the Hamilton region.

A formal referral through Contact Hamilton is necessary to access these services. Contact Hamilton’s referral process begins with a telephone call to arrange an intake interview, either by telephone or in person. After the intake interview a referral document is forwarded to Woodview, indicating which adult programs are being requested. Interested individuals/families are then contacted directly by Woodview regarding the next steps.
